Experiential nature trail that can
change your direction.

Nature Coaching, Luontocoaching

Nature Coaching

Nature coaching supports the growth of leaders and teams, and enhances the workplace experience.

We take the coaching process out into Finnish nature. Each coaching process has an overarching theme, while creating space for participants to create meaning on the spot.

Walking in the nature provides a constant stimulation and an endless flow of metaphors to look at the daily issues as well as the forest beyond. Activating the senses allows the mind to relax and make new connections. You will leave energised.

Typically, the flow includes moving, stopping, active experimentation, collective sense making, individual reflection, individual and pair coaching streams.

Important Questions

1. Who is it for?
Nature Coaching is suitable for leaders, teams and networks. Typically, an organisation will contact us directly. Occasionally we offer open group coaching sessions for specific target groups, e.g. executives, team leaders, in-house coaches.

2. What is the ideal group size?
While Nature Coaching can be adapted to various group sizes, programs typically function best with up to 15 participants. With 3 coaches for every 5 participants, everyone gets a good amount of individual attention.

3. Where does it take place?
We typically use the trails of Nuuksio National Park. Within easy reach of Helsinki, Finland, you can escape into wild nature and enjoy picturesque lakes, green forests and rugged rocks. An alternative route takes you to Torronsuo National Park - the largest raised bog in southern Finland. We are excited to develop new routes in the wilderness of Finland and Estonia based on your location and preferences.

4. How long is the session?
Typically 1/2 day, including a 4km trail with a snack break. The final length of the route will depend on your needs and preferences.

5. What are the examples of the topics handled?
Each coaching session or process has an overarching theme, e.g. Peace & Balance in Leadership, Professional Growth, Meaningful Collaboration and Personal Impact, while leaving space for participants to create meaning on the spot.

6. One-off event or a process?
Nature Coaching is a concept that adapts to your needs. It can be ordered as a process, as part of your development programme or as a one-off event.
